Why an internal switch for golf cart battery charger?

When you start to recharge the batteries for a golf cart, definitely you need to stop the vehicle completely, for security reason and also for electric safety operation.

By applying the brakes, you may stop the vehicle physically. But there is always a possibility that someone who is not aware of the charging status, and accidentally start the engine.
